Rosy Green Wool – Limited Edition 8: Verdigris, Pastel de Nata, and Treasure Chest

Dec 4th

Fans of Rosy Green Wool are in for a treat with Limited Edition 8. This collection was inspired  by the intense colours and moods of Lisbon - colourful tiles and wooden doors, the Fado music, the delicious Pastel de Nata, sailing ships and the emerald-green sea.  As always, the 3 new colors have been designed to work perfectly together and are nice, if combined in one of our colourful shawl patterns.

122 Verdigris is a radiant emerald shade that one finds in Lisbon again and again - in weathered copper roofs, wooden shutters, and in the turquoise-green waters of the rocky coast.  The color is greener than Laguna and Garden Pond, but it belongs to the cool greens as it is blue-leaning.

124 Pastel de Nata, was inspired by the traditional caramel-coloured pastry from Lisbon, However, we’ve also added notes of cinnamon and other spices from far-away countries. Pastel de Nata is a strong caramel or curry colour.

123 Treasure Chest is a dark grey-brown with a warm, elegant note. The color is fits on a color palette somewhere between Cornish Slate and Coffee Bean. Think of a chest filled with gems and gold coins found aboard an old sailing ship.

The new colors are available in Cheeky Merino Joy, Rosy Green Wool’s popular sport-weight yarn. Like all the Rosy Green Wool Limited Edition collections, only a limited number of skeins have been produced, so they are only available while stock lasts.

Order all three together as a yarn-only kit or choose the one or two you can’t resist from our open stock assortment.
