This luxurious, hand-dyed DK-weight yarn is a combination of Alpaca, Silk and Cashmere that magically creates both drape and stitch definition. This yarn takes up the Crave Yarn colors in the most lustrous manner. The colors across the Crave palette, rich with both saturated and soft hues, absolutely sing in this lush yarn base.

Like all hand-dyed yarns, each skein of Gallivant is unique.  The combination of fibers combined with our dyeing technique means you’ll notice a bit more variability – lighter and darker areas in your skeins. For garments where more consistency is desired, we suggest you alternate skeins.  We also recommend purchasing the yarn you need for a project all at once so that skeins of the same color can be well matched.  We get the base for this yarn from two suppliers who wind the skeins to different finished lengths.  Be confident that if we have sent you skeins that look somewhat longer or somewhat shorter than expected it will be OK!
