Construction

Riptide Cowl is worked in one piece, from the top down. There is an option to work 2 splits in the lower half of the cowl. If this is chosen the lower halves of the cowl are worked flat, otherwise work is continued in the round. The pattern contains written instructions and charted instructions.

Suggested Needles

-Size 3.75mm / US 5 circular needle, 50cm / 20” length circular needles to work cowl.
-Size 3.25mm / US 3 circular needle (0.5mm/ 2 sizes smaller than larger gauge needle), 50cm / 20” length circular needles for tubular cast on
OR Size to achieve gauge.

Gauge (after blocking)
22 sts x 32 rnds = 10cm x 10cm (4”x 4”) in riptide stitch pattern in the round, on larger needles.
