Gryer is a simple but elegant tricolored triangular shawl. It is worked in worsted weight yarn starting at the narrow point of the left edge and increasing on every other row to a full side of the right edge. It is worked predominantly in garter stitch making it super soft and squishy. Eyelet rows and thin stripes are added when shifting to the next color to give it extra interest and the opportunity for individuality. This pattern makes an excellent stash buster project and is easy to adjust to incorporate more colors or to use the yarn you have available. To do this for any amount of yarn or any weight, you will need to use approx 3/5 of each color for the garter section and the remaining 2/5 of that color for the eyelet/stripe section. Every garter section should end with an even stitch count to make sure that the pattern instructions for the eyelet/stripe section work as written.
