PATTERN DETAILS

The original design uses a different yarn and colorway. We think this design is a perfect choice for Spun Right Round Tough Sock in either semi-solids or speckled colors. The addition of nylon gives this yarn durability without sacrificing next-to-your skin softness.

Finished Size:
Length: 78 in / 198 cm; Width: 11 in / 28 cm

Construction
Open Skies scarf is a bias rectangle with tapered ends. Every right side row increases one stitch and every wrong side row decreases back to the original stitch count. If you want to make your scarf wider, cast on more stitches.

Suggested Needles
Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to achieve pattern gauge.
This narrow scarf is worked flat, so you can use either circular needles or long straight needles.

If you’re casting on more stitches to make your wrap wider, I suggest using circular needles.

OR Size to achieve gauge.

Gauge (after blocking)
20 stitches and 40 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in garter stitch before blocking Gauge affects the finished size and the amount of yarn needed.
