Castaways is a very feminine, floaty, easy wearing tee. We’ve selected Crave Yarn Caravan to make this light-weight, easy-to-wear top.

Construction
Castaways is worked seamlessly from the top down. It starts out with a separate back worked in the flat, and then the front to the arm holes. The fronts and backs are joined to work top down in the round to the garter, eyelet and twisted rib shell motifs that adorn the graceful hem, finished with JST’s loopy eyelet bind off. The length of this garment can be modified, however the kit includes the amount of yarn required to knit the design as written.

Suggested fit approx. 2.5 – 8.75cm (1 - 3.5”) positive ease. Sample shown in size 4 with 5cm (2”) ease at bust.
Finished garment measurements are taken with relaxed fabric after blocking, so please knit a gauge swatch.

Suggested Needles
US 6 (4mm) circular needle, 32-40” length (or size needed to obtain gauge) to knit the body.
US 5 (3.75mm) circular needle, 32” length (or 0.25mm / 1 US size smaller than gauge-size needle) to knit the neck band and sleeve cuffs. If not using magic loop for small circumferences, then a set of double pointed needles will be required.

Gauge (after blocking)
23 sts x 32 rnds = 4”x4” (10cm x 10cm) in stockinette stitch worked in the round after blocking on largest needle.
