Construction

Via con me is a symmetrical triangular shawl, worked back and forth from the top down with the yarn held double throughout. Starting with a garter tab cast on, stitches are increased every RS row at both edges and at the center of theshawl. Instructions for the lace pattern are written out (line by line) and charted. The combination of the cute and easy lace pattern and the wide textured border give this shawl a sophisticated yet casual look.

The shawl can be shortened or lengthened by working more or less repeats of the pattern repeats. Be aware that the amount of yarn needed will change with each alteration. We have provided the amount of yarn recommended for the size and gauge stated in the pattern.

Finished measurements
78.75” (200 cm) wingspan, 32.25” (82 cm) deep at center.
Suggested Needles
US 6 (4.00 mm) circular needle, 40” (100 cm) long or size needed to get gauge.
Gauge (after blocking)
20 sts x 40 rows = 4.75” (12 cm) x 5.5" (14cm)  in lace pattern
Gauge is not crucial for this project but will affect yardage required and final size when different.
