Manada
by Pascuali
When Paul Pascuali decided to add the first mohair yarn to his brand, he wanted something different. He set out to create a yarn that was less itchy and fluffy than 100% mohair and more unique than the mohair silk yarns that are readily available. He drew on all his experience producing high-quality natural yarns to develop a yarn that is completely out of the ordinary. The result? Manada.
Manada is the Spanish word for “herd of animals” and seems to be the perfect description for the unique blend of fibers in this completely new yarn. Manada combines fluffy kid mohair from the angora goat, shiny mulberry silk, precious yak wool and elastic merino wool into a fine, tightly twisted yarn with just the right amount of fluff.
Knowing colors matters, Pascuali developed a vibrant, flexible palette including 25 colors that are finely coordinated with seemingly infinite combinations. And even better, the Manada palette coordinates with colors from other popular bases including Balayage, Sole and more.
