CONSTRUCTION
Bocallave is knitted with the Ziggurat method, an all in one technique inspired by Tuulia's Tailored Sweater Method. The knitting begins as per Ziggurat usual with a regular longtail cast on for back and shoulders. Each shoulder is worked in turn to set up yoke and sleeve caps. A keyhole neckline and a keyhole on the sleeves make for a nice twist. The final bit of yoke and caps is knitted in two halves, front and back separately. Stitches are cast on to complete the sleeves before underarm stitches are picked up to finish the body in the round. Step by step instructions guide you from cast on to bind off. A Helpful Table keeps track of rows and shaping but is not required reading. Note that stitch counts change more often than usual due to the Keyholes. HINTS &You may shorten/ lengthen this garment by knitting less/ more body length before commencing the hem. Try on as you go and adjust accordingly.
