Explore Denmark with Yarn Culture - June 8-18, 2026

We’re delighted to announce that registration is now open for our next Yarn Culture adventure!

Denmark • June 8–18, 2026

A 10-night creative journey designed for knitters who love exploring beautiful places, learning new skills, and connecting with fellow makers.

This will be our second time traveling through Denmark, and we’ve built an itinerary that blends workshops, yarn experiences, culture, and plenty of time to knit. Whether you’re returning with us or joining for the first time, this trip offers a wonderful balance of inspiration and relaxation.

What Awaits You

We’ll begin with three days in Vejle for workshops and coaching with Åsa Tricosa—a favorite designer and longtime friend of Patti's and of Yarn Culture. From there we travel north with stops in Blokhus, Skagen, and Aalbæk, including a special visit to Isager Yarn. We'll wind up in the coastal town of Snekkersten, just north of Copenhagen. Along the way, we’ll explore cultural and historic highlights such as the Blokhus sand sculptures, Anchers Hus, the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde and Kronborg Castle, the castle that inspired Shakespeare's Hamlet, and more.

Our final days bring us closer to Copenhagen, where you’ll have time to explore the city’s shops, cafés, museums, and vibrant neighborhoods at your own pace.

Throughout the journey, we stay in beautifully located 4-5 star hotels, enjoy private transportation, and make time to knit, relax, and savor the Danish landscape, food, and design sensibility.

Full details—including daily itinerary, accommodations, workshops, pricing, and what’s included—are available on our trip webpage:

Group Size & Accommodations

We travel as a small group of 15-20 knitters and stay in three thoughtfully selected 4-5 star Danish hotels, each offering comfort, character, and wonderful surroundings. Single rooms are included; double occupancy is available for travelers registering with a roommate.

Optional Add-Ons

In addition to the main itinerary, you’ll have the opportunity to sign up for optional adventures—such as an embroidery workshop, a Danish cooking experience, and more. These will be announced closer to departure, and details will be posted on the webpage.

We Hope You’ll Join Us!

Our first Denmark trip was truly memorable, and we’re excited to return with a new itinerary, deeper creative experiences, and Åsa’s guidance throughout. It’s a wonderful opportunity to knit, explore, and enjoy Denmark in the company of fellow makers.

We’d love to share this journey with you.

Warmly,
Patti
