RAVIE PANCHO
by
Inese Sang

Ravie is part of Rosy Green Wool's first collections, The theme of this 2020 collection is Joy. It was conceived by Rosy and realized with a team around the world in times of a global pandemic. The pattern names are joyful expressions from different languages. They remind us that joy, diversity and solidarity across borders can give us hope and strength. Ravie is French and means delighted.

From Designer and Tech Editor:

The poncho is knit in one piece and flat, and then seamed together along the garter stitch edge until the neck opening is reached. Neck opening and the outer (unseamed) hem are defined by an i-cord edge for a clean finish. The final length of the poncho can be modified by omitting equal amount of pattern repeats (Row 1 - 12 of Main Body - Front) in both sections, Main Body - Front and Main Body - Back. The fit of the neck opening can also be tested as you go by folding it in half, stretching it a bit and trying on.
