PURL STRINGS
by Heidi Kirrmaier
Designer’s Description:
Purl Strings is knit from the top down, in one piece beginning at the neck. You can choose to begin by casting on the collar stitches, or with a provisional cast on so you can work the collar later and have the flexibility to adjust its size. Short row shaping is used to raise the back neck line, and then the yoke, body and sleeves are worked in the round. The textures are created simply by working a variety of purl stitches. Both elbow length and long sleeve instructions are provided.
