Joji Locatelli designed two shawls with her two good friends, Jodi and Tracie in mind. She met them for the first time when she visited Alberta, home to the pod-casting duo, At that time Tracie asked Joji to design a shawl inspired by her sister, so she did. You can find out more about Jodi here. But Joji surprised Tracie for designing one for her too! Tracie is a modern triangular shawl, with short rows that make it asymmetrical, and with a very deep V. It’s designed to show off your beautiful work and yarn, but it can also be worn all scrunched up around your neck. We knit our sample using The Uncommon Thread Linum - a beautiful blend of baby alpaca, silk and linen - perfect as we enjoy the variable temperatures of spring and ideal in the air conditioned spaces coming our way soon.
