Hat and Peak
by Maxim Cyr
Max has reinterpreted the yoke motif from his stunning Hide and Peak sweater into Hat and Peak – newly released this month. Hat and Peak is a stranded knitting project, perfect for novice colorwork knitters looking to improve their skills or experienced knitters looking for a fun hat design.
We’ve paired this pattern with Crave Yarn Caravan 50g skeins with 177yds/sk. That means you can knit even the largest size with our kit. We do advise that if you are knitting the largest size and want to make modifications (i.e. a deeper brim) consider purchasing a second skein of the main color here.
Sizes: 1 (2, 3)
Circumference: 19.25 (21.5, 24)”/49 (55, 61) cm
Length: 12(12.75, 13.25)"/ 30.5 (32.5, 33.5) cm
Please note that the sample shown was knit using a different yarn. The color option closest to Max's original choices is the first one - Franklin, Whisperlike, Page and Magisterium.
We have sequenced the colors in our kit photos so that the bottom color is Color A (brim) and the top color is Color D (crown). However, you may sequence the colors in any order that pleases you. Use Color B or D to swatch since you will have an ample quantity of those colorways.
