Wickerwork by Lori Versaci

Dec 1st

Published in October by Lori Versaci of VersaciKnits, WICKERWORK is a stunning new wrap that is beautiful to wear and interesting to knit. A classic triangle shape with a modern feel, WICKERWORK features the beautiful wickerwork pattern that spreads out to incorporate eyelets and then a stunning lace pattern.

Lori has written the design for almost any weight yarn.  We knit the shawlette size for Yarn Culture using 2 skeins of The Uncommon Thread Posh Fingering in Breath, a lovely semi-solid pale grey. The result is a wrap that is light and flexible to wear indoors as an accessory and outdoors as a scarf with a winter coat. Both the wickerwork pattern and lace patterns “pop” with Posh Fingering and show off these details as the designer intended and the knitter appreciates.

We’ve put together kits for the WICKERWORK shawlette including a beautiful hard copy of the pattern and two skeins of The Uncommon Thread Posh Fingering yarn.  If you’ve already got your pattern or prefer to purchase the pattern on Ravelry, you can select two skeins of your favorite color from our open stock assortment.

We’ve also got kits for the larger sizes of WICKERWORK in Woolfolk including the Shawl in TOV DK, the Wrap in TOV (worsted).

We’ll be featuring WICKERWORK at Vogue Knitting Live – NYC where you can also meet Lori Versaci of VERSACIKNITS and learn more about her beautiful designs.
