More Featured designers at Vogue Knitting Live in NYC

Jan 10th

We’re continuing our VKL-NYC designer preview with three more designers we love.

Anyone who has spent five minutes with us during the last months knows we're really enjoying Isabell Kraemer’s patterns.  While we might be late to the party since she has been creating beautiful designs since at least 2011, we’ve arrived and are having a blast!

We’ll be featuring at least one of Isabell’s designs in almost every yarn we’ll have at VKL.

The Uncommon Thread has been a great match for several of Isabell’s patterns.  Look for A Girl’s Best Friend in The Uncommon Thread Posh Fingering and Gryer in The Uncommon Thread Lush Worsted.   We’ve also got Paris Toujours in Everyday Sport.

Isabell designed Ainu in Big Merino Hug and you’ll see our sample in the same yarn.  We loved that sample so much, we decided to knit up Always Amsterdam in Big Merino Hug as well!

We are also featuring Lemmy K in the yarn Isabell originally selected – Walk Collection Luxe DK.

We’ll have patterns, kits and open stock yarn for all these patterns until we sell out!

We’re excited to meet Martina Behm at VKL-NYC, and feature a small selection of her lovely patterns.

We’ll be featuring three of Martina’s shawl patterns using Rosy Green Wool.

Rockin’ Rows combines Rosy Greeen Wool Melange Yarns – Heb Merino Fine and Manx Merino Fine.  We’ll have kits in two different colors ways.

We’ll also have two samples using Cheeky Merino Joy.  Corners, Edges and Stripes is a fun garter stitch knit combining interesting construction and four fun colors.  We’ll have kits in our favorite combination, but you can also select your own from our open stock assortment.

Martina’s Shore Hap was originally designed for The Book of Haps by Kate Davies.  She has reworked the design using Rosy Green Wool for a stand-alone pattern called  Shore Hap Joy. This traditional Shetland-styled wrap was inspired by colors and textures of the coastal landscape of Schleswig-Holstein.  Choose your favorite two colors and make it yours!

Finally, we couldn’t resist pairing Martina’s popular Brickless pattern with Erie, our new, exclusive colorway in MooRoo Yarn Moonbeam DK.  Just two skeins of this lovely merino/silk blend will make Brickless a shawl you won’t want to stop wearing!

I don’t think I’ve found a single design by Julie Weisenberger that I don’t like and when they are paired with Habu Textiles yarns, I’m in love!

We’ll be featuring several of Julie’s classic patterns including Gretel, Gisela, Veronika, Cocoon Wrap and Helena.  Paired with the magic of Habu yarns, even if you’ve made one of these garments before, Takako can show you another of her innovative yarns to create the same garment with a completely different look and feel.

We’ll also have copies of Julie’s newest book Cocoknits Sweater Workshop.  If you’re taking one of her classes, stop by and get a copy for her to sign for you!
