Join us for a knit-a-long: Ninilchik Swoncho by Caitlyn Hunter of Boyland Knitworks.
The Ninilchik Swoncho is perfect for our unpredictable late winter/early spring weather and you know it will be fun to wear!
Knit from the top down, the Ninilchik Swoncho uses 4 colors of DK weight yarn. The skills required for this KAL include knitting in the round, short rows, and stranded colorwork (note that while most rounds use only 2 colors, there are 2 rounds which require carrying 3 colors). If you’ve never done one of these skills or feel like you might be rusty, drop into one or two of Tina’s Help Clinics and get a lesson or refresher. Since this is a KAL and not a class, we will not be teaching these skills.
Like all our KALs, there is no fee for participating, however we do require that you use yarn purchased from our store. We carry a variety of DK weight yarns and we will be able to special order colors for some of our yarns.
Stop in, send Dawn an email or call the shop (585.678.4894) to register. We’ll be meeting on Saturday mornings from 10am – 12 noon as follows:
